Application for Testimonial / Transcript of Academic Record

  • Important Notes

    1. Application for testimonial / official transcript shall be made online, and a fee is required.
    2. The application fee must be paid via VISA / Master / UnionPay Card e-payment system.
    3. The application will be processed only when ALL supporting documents (including a copy of your HKID card / Passport (in JPG / JPEG / PNG / PDF format for verification purpose) and fees are received via the on-line system. NO REFUND will be given under any circumstances.
    4. Should there be any request for changes after the issuance of the testimonial / official transcript, a fresh application with appropriate payment will be required.
    5. You will receive an acknowledgement email upon successful application and on-line payment. If you do not receive an acknowledgement email, please check with the Graduate School (https://gs.hkbu.edu.hk/about/contact-us) before resubmitting your application. To avoid missing email from Graduate School regarding your testimonial / transcript application, please ensure the email address you provide is valid.
    6. Please note that uploading irrelevant supporting documents or filling in inaccurate information may result in prolonged processing time.
    7. Before submitting your application, please refer to the Hongkong Post website to confirm if the transcript/testimonial can be sent by airmail (including registered mail) to the intended recipient: https://www.hongkongpost.hk/en/about_us/whats_new/index.html. If airmail services to the destination are suspended, please opt for courier service (additional fees apply) or defer your application. Applications will be put on hold if the postal service is not available, and items will be dispatched once airmail services are resumed.
    8. To avoid postal errors, please make sure the address(es) of the recipient(s) is / are accurate. Graduate School bears no responsibility for any loss or damages of the testimonial / official transcript during postal delivery.
    9. Testimonial / official transcript can be collected from the Smart Locker. You can choose the delivery method “Collect at GS Locker”. Please make sure you have read the collection procedure here before choosing this delivery method.
    10. If you choose to collect the testimonial / official transcript at the Graduate School counter, please note that the document(s) will only be kept for 6 months after the issue date and will be disposed of thereafter.
